They'll always be friends

It is so crazy that I am a mom of a 21 year old and another one turning 13 next week. It goes so fast! It is wonderful to have them both at home right now. We are so luck to have this time together. We are a happy family and enjoy each other.

Easter Celebration!

What a beautiful day we had here in California for Easter. It was almost 80 degrees. Jeannie was so excited to have 4 of her 5 kids their to celebrate with her. We all had a wonderful visit and everyone stayed for the entire day. We are excited for the next time the family can get together. Life is crazy and busy and it means so much to Jeannie to have her kids take time out of their busy life to come and see her, even if it is for only a few hours.

My life is changing

Ok . . . I got my class picture back the other day (on a Friday) and realized I am FAT! I guess I never looked at MY pictures, and I take a lot. I was so sick at they way I looked, I went the very next day and joined Weight Watchers. So far I am in my 4th week. I weigh in on Saturday mornings and as of last Saturday I had lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks. I will keep everyone informed on my way to a healthier life.

The girls hit California

My sister called me on a Friday and asked if she could come out for a weekend, the following Friday I was picking them up from the airport, after a four hour delay due to the weather on the east coast. Saturday morning we hit the road and headed to LA, Malibu and Hollywood. They loved it. Tammy had never been their and the girls had never been to California before. The high light of the LA trip for the girls was stopping twice for hamburgers. Sunday we went down to the San Diego Zoo. Then we went out for Margarita's. Monday I had to go back to school so the girls got their much desired day to hang out at the beach and burn their translutent skin. They had a great trip and went back to 15 degree weather. They can have it.

I'm Back

Yes, I am back in the land of the living. I got thta really bad flu/cold that was going around. My family had never seen me so ill. We have had one visitor after another. First Jeff's girlfriend came to visit. Then we had some of Jeannie's family from Lousianna visit and then my sister, cousin and friend came for a quick visit from Maine. They needed to get our of the 20 degree weather . Luckily we got over our cold spell and had beautiful 77 degree weather. In between all our company Wyatt and I got a chance to head up to Disneyland for the day.
