Dinner in Little Italy

Bill decided that we should go out to dinner, he wanted some really good Italian food. I had been to a great Italian restuarnt with the girls called Mimmo's so I suggested their. It was so yummy. I love food!

Big Bike Ride

What a day! My friend Gloria asked me if I wanted to go on a 23 mile bike ride with her and her Uncle Mike. I figured I should do it since I have only been on a bike at the gym, not on the street since I was very young. We met at Uncle Mikes house in Chula Vista and rode down to Imperial Beach up to Coronado via the Silver Strand (beautiful ride) then we had to take a ferry over to San Diego then down under the Coronado Bridge thru Barrio Logan, up to National City, and back into Chula Vista. That 23 bike ride turned into a 41 mile ride. It was fun, it pushed me and know I know I can do the Rosarito bike ride, as long as I have proper bike shorts and a gel cushioned seat.

Boys at work

Bill and Jeff have been working at my school all week long, some days longer than I was their. Today they went thru my trash and found some curtain tie backs and decided it would be cool to wear them. As you can tell it is still very hard to get a picture of Jeff.

Another Baby Boy

It seems that everyone I know is having baby boys. You know that I love boys, I wanted a boy, and boys are so much easier. Sometime it would be nice to get cute girl things. Last night we had our girls night out and had brought gifts for our friend Margarita. We had a really fun time, it is so nice to get out with the girls and get to dress up and have girly talk. While I was out Bill, Jeff and Wyatt went to the movies to see Dark Night with Wyatt's teacher Kristen. Next week Wyatt and I are going to do all the touristy stuff since everyone will be back at school, I can't wait. I love to hang out with my kid.

Working on Jeff's Car

Yesterday Jeff and Wyatt spent the day together putting Jeff's motor back in his bug. Wyatt really enjoyed the time he got to spend helping and hanging out with his big brother. "It is really frustrating not being able to get it lined up." Was the only negative comment from Wyatt I heard. He did tell me that he was going to go to college so he could buy new cars and not have to spend an entire day working on a car.

Jeff and friends visit

Jeff and his friends Bernie(holding the flag) and Tanner came down for a weekend visit. How lucky we are to have boys that make such good choices in friends.
Jeff went to Pacific Beach and got his "Cock" tattoo. It is very cool and Wyatt was very impressed, until I explained to him that tattoo's are done with needles.

Wyatt cook's again!

Wyatt got a craving for homemade cookies and wanted to make them himself. Then like his mom he decided to change it up and make them into bars, more like a cake. They were yummy, yes I had to try one.

Dinner with a friend

My friend Deidra and I went down to Lakeshore teaching supplies to get stuff for our classrooms the other night and decided to go out for dinner. We went to one of my favorite places called P F Chang's, it was so good. As you can see we ordered a lot of food, we enjoyed it and are planning to go to the races one day before they are over.

Day with my niece's

Today was such a nice day I went and met my niece Dani and her son this morning and we went for a walk. Later I went up to Laguna to my niece Shane's house to watch her 6 year old daughter's dive meet. She has only been diving for two weeks. This pike she just learned this morning. She did so good at her competition, she placed 3rd our of 16 other kids. Pretty good.

Dominique's Birthday

Yesterday was my friend Dominique's birthday, she is very sensitive about her age, she is 5 years younger than me. She invited friends and their husbands to the Del Mar Races in which no one one anything, but we all had lots of fun. Then we went to a very nice restaurant in Del Mar. There was so much food and wine I thought I might bust. It was a really fun day and evening. Happy Birthday Dominique.

Teeth Extraction

Wyatt finally after over two hours of waiting got his teeth pulled. He was very nervous about the i.v. since it required a needle. as they were putting it in his arm his heart rate spiked up to 139. We played a game to see if he was able to get it down to around 50. He was able to to get it down to 53, pretty good. I was with him until they put him out then after 15 minutes he was done and had these great candy corn looking teeth to keep.

Jeff is here

Jeff is down here visiting and I have a difficult time getting a picture of him. He did let me get a picture of him in his "shawl". No, he doesn't wear it all the time just for the picture. His hair is getting long in the front, a backwards mullet as Bill calls it. He will be taking off for his bike trip up to climb Mt. Shasta then up on to Seattle, sometime he doesn't know when. It must be cool to have no exact plans, NOT!It would drive me crazy to have a plan with no exact details, must be something I get from my dad.

girls night out

O.K. it's summer and I am not so good at getting on the computer, who would want to during the summer in So Cal? Last week I went to dinner with a bunch of wonderful girls. We had some wonderful food at Tower23. It was so yummy. We all had such a great time, No kids.
