What a day! My friend Gloria asked me if I wanted to go on a 23 mile bike ride with her and her Uncle Mike. I figured I should do it since I have only been on a bike at the gym, not on the street since I was very young. We met at Uncle Mikes house in Chula Vista and rode down to Imperial Beach up to Coronado via the Silver Strand (beautiful ride) then we had to take a ferry over to San Diego then down under the Coronado Bridge thru Barrio Logan, up to National City, and back into Chula Vista. That 23 bike ride turned into a 41 mile ride. It was fun, it pushed me and know I know I can do the Rosarito bike ride, as long as I have proper bike shorts and a gel cushioned seat.
