Rainy Day

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes its that little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.

Today we were suppose to get major thunder storms, with lightning and everything. Guess what it didn't happen. Yes, it rained but not that much. I am waiting and wishing for warmer weather, I feel like I am constantly cold right now. I am not really complaining because my family and friends that live on the east coast are really cold, but for here it is cold.

Tomorrow I do not have any obligations, I am staying home all day and I might even sleep in until 7:00 (well I hope too). Jeff is suppose to come down so I plan on cooking up some yummy soup for us and extra for him to take home with him.

Getting an inch of snow is like winning a dime in the lottery, that is unless you live in the desert than you think you made it big in the lottery! YUP that is real life, fresh white snow on that cactus and many more out in out beautiful desert, and I do not mean at the top of the tram in Palm Springs desert.

Happy Friday

This is the last Friday to deliver food to the robotics team, in fact Monday is the last day of build season. YEAH!!! I am excited because I have not sewed, crochet or done anything crafty since . . .well Christmas. Next week I will be back to somewhat a normal life, Wyatt will still have to be down at school for drive practice but I don't have to make food, just drive down late to pick him up. I am going to get my creative juices flowing AND I will be making another trip to Blick Art store this weekend but this time for personal stuff.
Have a wonderful weekend, enjoy it extra since it is a long weekend to celebrate President's Day.

It's raining, it's pouring. . .

Today, Friday, Sat, Sun and 4 days next week it is raining! Gotta give in and make the best of it, even if I fell into a puddle today ( out front of my house). So what do you do when you are all wet? YUP jump and splash around in the puddles. Enjoy each thing (good or bad) that come your way and you will enjoy your life more.

YUMMY!

Its that time of year again. . . time for the best, fresh picked strawberries ever. Saturday I went over to the fields and purchased a flat of them. . . 12 baskets of the sweetest, red, juicy fruit. I have missed their flavor.

These berries were gone in 24 hours they became strawberry shortcakes for the robotics team, crepes for us and just plain yummy to eat out of the box. Guess what? I am going back up tomorrow to get a bunch more.

Happy Valentines Day

I hope everyone had a wonderful day. I made the adorable fry boxes to give out to the staff at work, my students and friends. I think they came out really cute. I filled them with treats and sweets and fun Valentine's toys, whistles, pencils erasers and fun things. I love to make fun things for my friends, especially when they appreciate it. I have some super cute St.Patricks Day crafts to make and pass out . Watch for it to come.
